The D'Addario Woodwinds (Rico) number 2 Royal alto saxophone reeds allow for a beautifully bright sound and were developed especially for professional sax players. These special reeds combine the Rico cut with the French cut (meaning they're filed) to provide a clear tone and to allow the reeds to speak quickly, even when you're playing softly. Furthermore, they offer a very even response in all registers and a well-defined tone.
